Policy Commitments:

• Cutting Waste, Prioritizing Classrooms: Redirect funds away from excessive administrative costs, consultants, and legal fees to support core classroom needs, including protecting student-facing positions from cuts, upgrading classroom technology, and enhancing extracurricular programs.

• Reforming Long-Term Financial Planning: Advocate for a comprehensive overhaul of the Town of Andover’s financial plan to align APS budgets with sustainable revenue projections, preventing annual deficits and staffing cuts.

• Freeze on Consultants: Implement a freeze on hiring external consultants to prioritize direct investments in student learning and classroom resources.

• Work for Increased State Funding: Collaborate with our State Representatives to secure additional Chapter 70 funding to address rising state-imposed unfunded mandates.
