Fiscal Responsibility

Andover's expenditure per student was $22,221.57 in 2022 and is only expected to rise in the coming years. Despite this, Andover Public Schools has been outperformed by school districts such as Hopkinton, Belmont, Winchester, and many more who spend significantly less per student. It's clear that APS has a spending problem, with hundreds of thousands of tax dollars being spent on programs and software that isn't effective in educating our student.
Chris Shepley, an outspoken advocate for fiscal responsibility, is dedicated to protecting the affordability of Andover. He will seek to stop the wasteful spending within our district and use objective and data-driven solutions so every resident can rest easy knowing their hard earned tax dollars are being used wisely in service of our students' education.
